Opening a Tradelynz account starts with your work email. Verifying your business takes about 15 minutes if you have the right documents to hand. We read them for you, so there is very little to type.
Every business
- Your business registration certificate. It confirms your business is registered and gives us your registration number and incorporation date.
- Proof of your business address: a utility bill, bank statement or tax document from the last six months, or a lease of any date, addressed to the business.
Limited companies
- A shareholder register showing each shareholder's full name and the percentage they own.
- Your company profile or registry extract, if your certificate doesn't show your directors and registered address.
- A directors register, if your directors aren't on your company profile.
Partnerships
Your partnership agreement or a list of partners, showing who owns the partnership and each partner's share.
Only if they apply
- A tax or VAT certificate, if your tax number isn't on your registration documents.
- A regulatory licence, if your activity needs one, for example exporting regulated commodities.
Your directors and owners
Directors and owners who need to be verified get a secure link. They need a valid photo ID and a phone with a camera for a quick selfie and liveness check.
Tips for a quick application
- Upload clear scans, or take photos with your phone.
- Check that documents show the business name exactly as registered.
- If a document is hard to read, replace it at any time before you submit.
