Tradelynz exists to make trade across Africa faster and more connected. Before we can do that for a continent, we need to do it well for one market. We are starting in Ghana.
Trade is everyday business here
Ghanaian businesses buy and sell across borders every day. Exporters ship cocoa, cashew and shea. Importers bring in machinery, packaging, vehicles and consumer goods. For many of them, the hardest parts of a trade have little to do with the goods themselves.
The problems we want to solve
- Paying a supplier abroad and knowing the full cost before the money leaves.
- Trusting a buyer or supplier you have never met.
- Knowing where the goods are between the port and the warehouse.
- Financing an order when a lender only looks at your balance sheet.
Each of these has an answer on Tradelynz: cross-border payments with the cost upfront, verified businesses and escrow, shipment tracking, and trade finance through our partners.
Built properly from day one
Every business on Tradelynz is verified before it can trade, and the people who own and run it verify their identity. Every compliance decision is made by two people, and every important action is recorded. That takes longer to build, but it is the only way to build something businesses can rely on.
What comes next
We are opening accounts to businesses in Ghana first, and building for the rest of the continent next. If you trade from Ghana, you can open an account and verify your business online.
